Serge Benhayon – the unshakable consistency

There is much to say about Serge Benhayon, a truly extraordinary man who writes volumes of paradigm shifting books, presents in trainings for 5 days in a row without notes or preparation, develops new healing modalities, serves in projects all over the globe, gives healing sessions and consults one to one, working hard, very hard indeed, sometimes up to 20 hours a day. And working hard without losing the connection to his love, care and tenderness, as working hard normally means in this world.
A world teacher, who is so humble, seeing himself as no more special than others, considering himself as the forever student. No arrogance, and no difference in his appearance if he meets you for the first time, or if you are a friend of 20 years. His love radiates in all directions constantly, as true love does. The many testimonies on this site cover many aspects that he brings, and I am sure he will be remembered as one of the world’s greatest philosophers of all times.
I have been studying Serge Benhayon for 10 years, being a student myself, and my key question was not how he is able to bring all that he does – because he is fully transparent in showing and explaining that to the finest detail to everyone who is open to listen, but why is he able to bring all of this to us, and so consistently each day, almost every moment? His consistency in what he brings since 1999 is to me the truly remarkable thing about Serge Benhayon.

When I asked him recently, he answered, ‘Purpose’.
Purpose being the reason behind why he does what he does. To understand his purpose, and perhaps also to align with it, we have to look at the world not with our eyes but seeing, understanding and feeling the energy behind how the world operates on a physical level.
On the outside this world is already outright horrible, if we are honest, with all the wars, the all over corruption in the business world, slavery (now called human trafficking), child prostitution, domestic violence, the illnesses, the relationships that are not based on love and the lies that most of the media are spreading – to name just a few of the many things that are so obviously not right on this planet.  The problem being that these atrocities don’t change throughout history, whatever we do. The outer appearance may change, but wars remain.

But the real ugliness in this world is the energy at play behind what we see with our eyes. How humanity, because it chooses to be unaware, is played by an energy source that is running them. People in themselves are not evil, in essence we are all very beautiful and loving, but through people this energy source can act out all its evil. If we let it.
Basically, as Serge Benhayon shares, there are only two energy sources, humanity can choose from: the energy source of love and the energy source of not love, also known as the astral plane.
The problem with humanity being that it has been running on not love for such a long time, with only a few people living true love, so there is hardly any reflection on what it is like to run your life on love consistently.

Here is where Serge Benhayon comes in. He sees and feels not only the evils in the world as they play out what we can see with our eyes, but also the hidden energy behind this. He hates how humans are being played by energies that they are not aware of. Energies that have resulted in a world that is not about love and not about truth. A world that had no true model in human form that lives love and truth consistently.

To crush the energies of not love and deconstruct everything that is not right in this world needed a true model in human form that lives love and truth. Consistently. Why consistently? Because humanity as a whole had fully lost trust that living love and truth was possible. Perhaps in the past with great messengers like Jesus and Buddha, but today? Trust is built by doing things consistently and reflecting that to people around you. That is the way true parenting also works. Not telling them, but showing. Walking it, then talking about it.

One moment of judging? One moment of feeling better because you’re this great presenter on stage? Treating one person with more “love” (which is not love) than another? Out goes trust, and we would be like the many many people who claim they stand for love and truth but are not living it every single moment. Consistently. Without perfection, because imperfection is part of being human.

That is Serge Benhayon’s purpose and that is why he lives every day so consistently. Because he hates the cold and heartless ways we allow in our lives so much and realises that one man had to stand up and show that living a life of love, very consistently, can very well be done.

So he reflected that to me, and I trust and know now that it is very possible to live a life like that, living that love, giving all of me, to the best of my ability. And in living the love I know I am, the power I am, I am able to inspire other people so we could be that generation that is able to turn this planet around and return to a life that is based on love once again.
To have Serge Benhayon as this role model in my life, is a tremendous gift.

I have purpose now. I know what role I have to play in this life. Thank you Serge.

Most of us have a yearning for something we may not be able to express in words, but we know that what we see in this world is not it. Yet looking back I can see how for years, similar to most others, my desire for this has not been greater than the emphasis I have put on other things, such as protection, security, comfort or a host of other things ....... It is so refreshing to see someone who is loving, wise and clear about a true purpose that includes the whole of humanity, and lives that consistently, and what is more is transparent in how they live and will share about exactly how they live whenever you ask.
I can clearly say that meeting Serge Benhayon has been the most significant evolutionary points of my life.

Serge Benhayon brings it back to energy - and seeing the world from this perspective makes it so simple to see how we choose not love as the majority.

So very true bring life back to the driving force behind it and we are left in the simplicity of life, of understanding and being able to make sense of a world that does not make sense.

Yes HM. Before I met Serge Benhayon I had never considered the fact that 'everything is energy' and as Serge Benhayon presents - 'everything is because of energy'. It is profound to realise that is the truth of life, and however much we deny it - that is the case.

The depth of love this man is offering to humanity is unfathomable.
People can say I'm not ready yet, or its not for me and leave it at that.
Why make up lies and attack the love, it makes no sense but here its happening again.
Lies cannot bring down those who stand for truth, they can only muddy the waters.

I completely agree that I experience the depth of love that Serge offers almost unfathomable and yet isn’t that in itself unfathomable as we are all of that same love ourselves so how on earth (pun intended) did we get so far away from that as to consider it unfathomable!!!

I agree Bernard - with anything in life we have a choice - and we can say yes, or no - its up to us to discern. But if we choose its not for us why is it that we can abuse, goad, vilify some people for their choices. Yes of course if something is illegal then we cant condone it, and it needs to be in the hands of the law. But if we are for instance simply choosing to take more responsibility in our lives, to take care of our health - why vilify?

Well said Willem and also as you have shared in your blog. “To have Serge Benhayon as this role model in my life, is a tremendous gift. I have purpose now. I know what role I have to play in this life. Thank you Serge.” It is also my experience that Serge has showed me what is possible as a human – in fact through his living example I have seen the best of us all and through the example of those that attack him I have seen some of the worst. Both these examples have inspired me to live a loving, truthful and purposeful life.

How as humanity have we allowed this to be okay .. the media writing and publishing the most heinous lies? This is for each and every one of us to look at what we have both accepted and tolerated as being okay and then to absolutely say it is not okay. There should be a code of ethics that all media have to adhere to. It is sickening to know that a man who is deeply caring and loving .. Serge Benhayon is being treated this way by the media. The one thing it does do is completely expose the vileness of the media.

It is about standards - standards of living that we have accepted as 'normal' or 'okay' when they are clearly not okay, not serving us given the state of the world today and not true as deep down we know that it isn't the way - yet we tolerate, compromise, turn a blind eye, deny, get frustrated/react - and yet the way we can begin to turn things about is by looking at the way we are each living, and bringing more care, honesty, love, into our own lives, saying no to abuse, and that has a ripple effect beyond what the eye can see.

Jane Keep

So well said Nicola, we can be so 'small minded' in relation to life - and in that we abuse the very thing (truth) we have all been searching for, for a very long time.

The way the media has attacked Serge is totally unacceptable. They have not done their research and are printing exactly what they like because they know they can get away with it. However they feed us this diet because this is what the majority of readers are demanding. If we are not demanding it but not saying no to it, then it boils down to the same thing.

Crucify and then say 'whoops, perhaps he was the real deal' in hindsight and then sanctify them...putting them on a massive pedestal that completely bastardises the absolute equalness they actually stood for when they were alive. Yes, let's not do this again this time. Let's fully embrace this truly loving being and take responsibility for being love ourselves.

Serge does live with unshakable consistency and this is what is so inspirational. 'He hates how humans are being played by energies that they are not aware of.' This is huge... to consider that everything is energy is already a consciousness shifter, but to recognise, feel and see how we are being played by energies is a gargantuan leap from the standard way we see life to be. Serge has been the one to ‘unearth’ this so to speak and to bring to our attention how this plays out in our everyday lives.

Serge has shared on many occasions the importance of the ‘one life’. Which basically is a life based on entirely one quality, one way of living and being. Imperfections are normal in our physical world but what Serge is most consistent with is his quality of love and energetic quality. It is a consistency that is lived to such a level it is undeniable the truth he endlessly presents

Joshua what you talk of here with consistency is, what I am feeling and discovering more and more, our Livingness. Our Livingness, how we live day in day out to not only support ourselves but others as well really is key and with Serge .. well, his Livingness is phenomenal. How beautiful is that, to have such Livingness because you not only deeply care for yourself but equally deeply care for others too.

It feels like consistency is also a key element of responsibility. It is all well and good saying “yes I choose to be Love most of the time but I like my moments of judgement or indulgence”. However as you choose to be more responsible, the consistency of love that must be lived is much higher and therefore those moments of self must also fall away. Without perfection, however the intent is always true.

The biggest turning point for humanity, I feel, will be when we collectively accept that there are two energies to align to and that we are what we choose to align to. Once accepted we will begin to live the fact that 'everything is energy and that everything is because is energy'.

Thank you Willem Plandsoen for laying it out so clearly before us the real truth that humanity is controlled by a devious energy that plays us at its whim both good and bad. Enter Serge Benhayon whose teachings expose the game and teach us how to choose the energy of Love consistently, as he lives it consistently 24/7. 12 years of study has continued to confirm the depth of his integrity, love and unfathomable commitment to us, his work, his family and to Truth.

Michael I totally agree and perhaps that is something for us all to note, when true purpose is there absolute consistency is the way of life. Many times I speak to people who like myself thought we had 'purpose' but the truth was it was more about security and protection over the true purpose that I have come to feel in the way Serge lives. That shows me that anyone can have unshakable consistency if they are dedicated to truth (and not our convenient version of it!).

And I also love how you have explained why consistency is important to the human race – we need the repetitive movements of love that Serge walks and talks with in order to bring back possibility and trust.
We definitely do know about the 2 energy sources available to us; why else would we have phrases like, 'What's got into you?' and 'I was beside myself!' We know we can be run by an energy that is not playing 'nice' with us. Great testimonial, thank you.

That consistency leads to trust which eventually leads to acceptance and a normalising of that way of living and inspiration to also apply love into ones life. On the flip side the consistency of not love slowly chips away at us and it becomes a chosen submission as we loose sight of the fact of there being love when actually it's always available. That's what Serge Benhayon has shown me that no matter what is happening, love can still be chosen.

"But the real ugliness in this world is the energy at play behind what we see with our eyes. How humanity, because it chooses to be unaware, is played by an energy source that is running them"
This to me is the key to making the changes in the world that is needed. That there is an as yet unseen energy behind everything we do and say. We are moved by energy first then we have the thoughts based on the energy we have chosen. No one in this life time has explained in such details the true mechanics of our physicality and the effect that energies have on our bodies.

The world is indeed a messy place and so many accept this as 'normal'. What Serge Benhayon is offering is that this is not 'normal' and that it is possible to live the change for ourselves which in turn offers this change as a reflection for others too to choose this.

Thank you Willem, this is deeply touching to read. You have summed up so well how poorly this world is doing, and has been century after century, we do not even have featured in our history books great civilisations based on love (though there would have been). We currently are aspiring towards more technology, medical advancements, etc, and though these may be necessary we must address the fact that people feel miserable, discontented and empty, and that there is disharmony, a lack of brotherhood, and the fact we are living disconnected to our love. It's love that needs to be restored in the heart of every man.

I never would have thought of us humans all being equal, it sure doesn't look that way, and to understand that the thoughts we have and the movements we make are all impulsed by the energy that we align to that is either harming or healing (not love and love) has been a revelation. It has inspired me to refine my own way of living so that I can feel energy in my body and be more aware of what is going on around me.

And there is actually only one way to live while we think there are many ways possible. And in reality that is a fact that people do live in many ways but we forget that these many ways do not bring us anywhere. They only keep us in this same realm of life. Only the scenes are changing that makes us think that we have evolved from history, but truth is there are still wars, there is still illness and disease but we arrogantly, which is also part of that way, neglect these signals and marvel ourselves for our achievements. The Serge Benhayon shows us a way, that only true way, that will make us truly evolve out of this realm of creation back to where we belong and is our destiny. So keeping on to these many ways is a trick of the spirit that likes this experiment of being the ungod in which it can create for its own pleasure and excitement and in that is delaying its return to God. Choosing the one way is the way out and we can better chose it now then later as how much worse does life needs to become before we see the truth of the failure of the many other ways.

Among the many things that are utterly remarkable about Serge Benhayon one key one is his absolute observation of choosing to see EVERYTHING that is there. Ugly, evil or true. And he does NOT react to what he sees. This allows him to not judge and to understand and offer the insight and wisdom he does.

I do understand the consistency you are talking about Willem and I can see that in Serge Benhayon in living the love he chooses to be obey to and what that brings to people and to the wold. But I see also this same consistency in people not living love and what that brings to people and to the world. So it seems that this consistence does something in people. It strengthens the connection with the energy you have chosen for and develops more of this in the body. But through Serge’s consistency I have learned that there is a way out of living the ‘not love’ as I can use that same consistency I already had, but now to chose and live the other energy, the energy I belong to, the energy of love.

For Serge Benhayon there are no half truths or 'white lies', in fact there are no lies at all, something the world has not found acceptable as yet. Most of us wouldn't consider working 20 hours a day and if we did, it would be exhausting. The reason Serge Benhayon can do it is because he looks after his body in every aspect, keeping it fit with gentle exercise, nourishing it with food that is appropriate for the way he lives and by being loving in all his relationships from the greengrocer to business colleagues to his family and his wife - he loves all equally and treats everyone with equal respect. What is deeply empowering about The Way of The Livingness and all that Serge Benhayon presents is that we, all of us, are offered the opportunity to know what it feels like to live with love in our bodies, explore and come to know how our bodies are always reflecting the truth of if we are living love or lies. The more we live honouring our bodies the more we are aware and can very clearly feel what is of love and what is not and can then choose to adjust ourselves accordingly to allow greater love to be lived. With this we offer the reflection a of lived quality that encompasses the truth of who we all are inn essence; love.

Serge Benhayon has turned around the idea of what working hard looks like through the way he lives. In the past I believed working hard meant self-sacrifice, drive, tension and lots of coffee to keep you going! Whereas what I have observed in Serge and I am beginning to feel in me is a surrender to my body and only doing what is needed in its perfect timing. Serge Benhayon’s understanding of himself is way beyond his delineation as a human body, but not without the human body, and each word he speaks is delivered with such care and purpose, it’s incredibly beautiful. And it feels like when we try interpret what he brings into a less parameter, we are back to the ‘bettering’ that has never worked to shift us out of this muck. A bit like how we sometimes feel limited by words, but we keep giving it a go anyway. Serge is definitely the most hard-working person even just on a human level, but we don’t see him striving, trying or pushing – and the rest of us try so hard, or at least think we have to try. Maybe trying is not involved in this at all. What if what he is showing through his living way is not an ideal but a way that we are naturally designed to be? We heard it so many times that we are love, and that we are already enough. Have we really let that sink in, I wonder?

It is totally disgusting what we have as a race of human-beings allowed to become ‘normal’, wars, corruption, slavery in whatever form this is now presenting, child prostitution, abuse of any kind, illness and disease to name but a few of the horrors in this world. Serge Benhayon has offered humanity a different way to live with ourselves first and then share with all others. As I do not want to live in the rot of my own making any more I am willing to try another way. Since meeting Serge Benhayon some years ago and trying out this other way, I can feel how it is changing my whole outlook on life for I now lead a simple and less complicated but joyful life.

I love this it is so true 'Trust is built by doing things consistently and reflecting that to people around you. That is the way true parenting also works. Not telling them, but showing. Walking it, then talking about it.' Also by not judging another as well but being open in how are and open in how we see others. Knowing the difference between love and prana (the astral) is a very important teaching I have deep appreciation and respect for Serge in teaching this and not holding back.

You know how when you're young or a teenager you just want someone to 'see you' like the real you, the one that you know of yourself but you don't always bring it out in the world. Well, the first person I felt truly seen by was Serge Benhayon, and even though the part that didn't want to be exposed (i.e. astral energy) was uncomfortable, I felt the enormous love of having what was not me brought to my attention. That can only be done, when we see each other as the love we are first which Serge reflects constantly in every area of his life.

Serge Benhayon consistently demonstrates his love for all, his honesty and integrity being self-evident as he shares valuable insights that support us to deal with the rising problems we are faced with. The degree of absolute love that Serge holds everyone in has very steadily and consistently repaired a ‘broken heart’ and my trust in humanity again through the depth of his living quality and the way he embraces everyone with complete equality.

'Treating one person with more “love” (which is not love) than another' thank you Willem, this is now so clear to me whereas years ago I would have thought that it was natural and normal to love say, a family member more than a work colleague. However through seeing how Serge lives and from what Serge shares about his life and relationships with family, friends, neighbours, builders architects, sales persons, I clearly got to understand that love is universal, it is equalising, it is consistent, it just is, cannot be measured and cannot therefore be truly given in greater portion to one than to another.

The world today is packed with arrogant people who are so quick to tell us why they are 'right', to see someone walking with humility is rare. Serge Benhayon is always presenting that he is nothing without his Soul. He has zero arrogance and 100% humility, with a knowing that he is everything with his Soul, but he cannot be arrogant about that, for it's Soul and not him. "Basically, as Serge Benhayon shares, there are only two energy sources, humanity can choose from: the energy source of love and the energy source of not love, also known as the astral plane." A teaching that fundamentally alters our entire understanding of life on Earth and explains so much of the unexplainable human behaviours that we indulge in. When we trace everything back to the quality of impulsing energy suddenly everything makes complete sense and humanity is once again given a true choice in life, the pure still energy of Love that serves all equally or Astral Plane, intent only on serving its own needs.

To me, purpose used to mean having a good reason to do something but today, I feel it has a much deeper and all encompassing 'presence'. Purpose is a way of life, something that touches everything we do, if we allow it. It is a way of being that is not owned by anyone, but can be aligned to by any of us. It is like tuning in to a deep sense of absoluteness that brings clarity to everything that needs to be done. Is it possible that in the world we have created a 'watered down' version of purpose because the truth of it means we have to be deeply responsible for everything we do?

Consistency is an interesting subject, what are we consistent in how does this impact on life? I now have a consistency of self care and responsibility, regardless of where I am, who is watch, or how ver many doors are closed. i.e. 'if no one sees it doesn't count' because I know that everything is energy and I know that because of this that all is impacted. in the slightest disharmonious moment, this does not mean I am perfect, I am learning, but I thank Serge Benhayon for offering this simple and real teaching. Here here, I agree Rachel. He is the most consistent person I have ever met - whatever is going on in the world and life. Serge is deeply committed and dedicated to humanity, with more integrity than Ive ever observed elsewhere on the planet. And I have observed Serge Benhayon for 15 years - and that has been the same right the way through - that to me is consistency with bells on.

Purpose such a simple word but very powerful word and the answer to many of life woes and complications. With true purpose as a foundation we don't get caught up in all of life's dramas and emotional distractions.

Most think of purpose based on a totally self centred perspective. As in what is best for them and this is usually from the deep hurt and pain that remains unhealed like a gaping hole within. Some think of purpose based on selflessness but usually this stills comes from a “feel good factor” that they crave somewhere deep within and hence what they are doing is not really for the good of all but for the need of self. Serge has shown a way of living that is totally self full and self less in its purpose.

The unshakeable steadiness with which Serge Benhayon conducts himself is due to the foundation of rock solid stillness he has connected to within himself. This is a lesson to us all in how to build a strong presence in this world that empowers us to rise above the volatile nature of day-to-day living by connecting to an inner strength that carries us through the most extreme challenges. Whatever Serge Benhayon accomplishes opens the door for the whole of humanity to accomplish too.

Serge Benhayon is constantly vilified for the truth he brings to humanity by reflection of his daily living way. I have no doubt about his integrity and that he will consistently continue to live from love and true purpose of the grander order possible for all, until his last breath.
"He (Serge) hates how humans are being played by energies that they are not aware of. Energies that have resulted in a world that is not about love and not about truth. A world that had no true model in human form that lives love and truth consistently".

It can be hard to fathom that someone can work so hard and yet never be affected by the work they do, never become exhausted by long hours, never take on what is emotionally going on for others. Serge Benhayon shows this consistently and repeatedly and has inspired many others to be able to work so consistently hard without taking on or becoming exhausted. Like you say Willem its purpose.

It has been the ‘unshakeable consistency’ of Serge Benhayon which has also inspired me to bring a new way of living into my daily life. This consistency is not just about saying yes to what is love but also no to what is not love, a commitment which has certainly exposed how much lovelessness there has been in my life and in the world around me. And I can see from the steady reflection of how Serge lives, that the more consistent I am the more consistent my life is, and therefore the more I can support others in their lives. Everybody benefits.

Many if not all go through life and for what ever reason there seems to be something lacking, something that we are desperately not wanting to be honest about and admit that what we have is not it. When I came to this point I was ready to see and hear how life could be different. rewind 14 years ago and Serge Benhayon was and still is phenomenal with his consistency so to observe and feel the purpose he lives I realised was in me to.

Unshakeable consistency indeed, it has been obvious to me throughout the thirteen years that I have been attending presentations by Serge Benhayon that, no matter which country he is in (and I've attended presentations in UK, Vietnam and Australia), no matter what has been happening or what rubbish is written about him in the press, with absolute commitment to his work, every time without fail he has turned up looking immaculate as ever, looking calm and collected, and presented in his usual way a rock solid, life changing albeit sometimes challenging but always practical session.

"To have Serge Benhayon as this role model in my life, is a tremendous gift." Amen to that - multiplied by a zillion. In a world that is woefully bereft of true role models, a man like Serge Benhayon becomes a shining beacon in the darkness. He has lit up my path so that I can see the glory that I am. Whether I stay on that path is my choice, but so few of us even get to see it - for that I am eternally grateful to him.

Yes Willem, this is so true about Serge Benhayon - 'He sees and feels not only the evils in the world as they play out what we can see with our eyes, but also the hidden energy behind this. He hates how humans are being played by energies that they are not aware of'. Humanity is sorely in need of the energetic truth, and yet when it is presented it is often resisted, because it exposes for how long we have submitted to what is not love.

"That is Serge Benhayon’s purpose and that is why he lives every day so consistently. Because he hates the cold and heartless ways we allow in our lives so much and realises that one man had to stand up and show that living a life of love, very consistently, can very well be done." - Serge has taken the stand to say that life does not have to be like it is seen today in society, that we have the choice to live the live decency and respect that is natural to us and our birth right - it is a choice we can all make and put into practice in our lives at any given moment.

When I consider the depth of love and appreciation that Serge Benhayon expresses on a daily basis, it becomes extremely evident that not only have we, humanity, been starving our selves of this precious commodity for too long, we have actually forgotten what it looks like to embody this innate virtue. Fortunately our bodies have not and hence once met there is a deep subconscious response that knows this love as our own, which thank God, initiates a deep wake up call within us that only the most stubborn of spirits would choose to ignore.

An awesome testimony regarding Serge Benhayon what I naturally wanted to read when reading this 'Purpose being the reason behind why he does what he does. To understand his purpose, and perhaps also to align with it, we have to look at the world not with our eyes but seeing, understanding and feeling the energy behind how the world operates on a physical level.' was Purpose being the reason behind why he does what he does. To understand his purpose, and perhaps also to align with it, we have to look at the world not with our eyes but see with our heart.' for that is what helped me feel and 'see' (but not with eyes) what purpose was .. when I went to my heart.

One of the things I appreciate most about Serge is his infinite patience. His mastery of life and greater awareness that reaches depths I have never gone to is a consistent beacon and he never holds anyone lesser for not living their potential to its fullest or for not accessing it. He knows what it is well before any of us do and he will keep repeating the same messages as many times as is needed until we get it. The many repeats are staggering and yet he continues with love and patience as if he were explaining something for the first time.

The question may be how so much be achieved in one day, every day.
“There is much to say about Serge Benhayon, a truly extraordinary man who writes volumes of paradigm shifting books, presents in trainings for 5 days in a row without notes or preparation, develops new healing modalities, serves in projects all over the globe, gives healing sessions and consults one to one, working hard, very hard indeed, sometimes up to 20 hours a day. And working hard without losing the connection to his love, care and tenderness, as working hard normally means in this world.”
It can be done because Serge Benhayon and now many others are showing that there is a way to live life in its fullness by connecting to the multidimensionality of the universe that is there waiting for us to return to it, something we actually know very well. I work in the corporate world where the senior managers are always talking about time and that there should be more time in the day to do everything that they feel is required of them and their colleagues. But what if instead of time we connected to space …what then? This is how Serge Benhayon is able to do so much in a day without being tired because he connects to space and in space there is no time it’s as though time stops but everything gets accomplished. We could try this connection to space for ourselves and see if it makes a difference to our lives. Is it possible that Serge Benhayon is on to something here which we haven’t fully appreciated yet.

Rather than fearing the forces Serge goes deeper into the love that we all are in essence. I am currently examining my relationship with the not-love energy. What I can say is it's a blessing to know someone who does stand in the face of such and goes deeper into love in response.
