Serge Benhayon The Author
by Gabriele Conrad
Serge's books are based on the simple and eternal Esoteric Principle that we are love – innately and, unchangeably. The principles of the esoteric way of life date back to the oldest forms of knowledge and wisdom. Whilst ancient in their heritage, the principles of the esoteric life in human form have not out-dated themselves in relation to what is required of mankind to live in harmony and thus arrest any wayward conduct that does not build brotherhood within and amongst our communities everywhere.
The outstanding fact is that even after publishing ten books between 2006 and 2015, Serge actually does not regard himself as an author as such. Writing his books is something he does outside of what would commonly be called 'normal working hours' and his prolific output is another testament to his amazing life, his solid work rhythm and loving discipline.
And may it be added that we are not talking about insubstantial offerings by any stretch of the imagination here – |
Book 1 (2006) The Way It Is weighs in at 427 pages, Book 2 (2007) A Treatise on Consciousness at 460 and Book 3 (2008) The Way of Initiation at 744 pages. These are not lightweights but philosophical treatises that set the mark for the beginning of the new era and in the lineage of H. P. Blavatsky and A. A. Bailey.
True to style and without paying lip service to conventions, the next book after Book 3 was published as Book 5 (2009) The Living Sutras of the Hierarchy. Book 4 will be Esoteric Medicine, a 2-volume treatise, already written and awaiting publication, on what exactly is universal medicine for mankind, i.e. the counter to the everyday lifestyle and thinking choices that have lead us to the ever-escalating disease and illness rates that have become part and parcel of today’s life for so many.
One single chapter out of Esoteric Medicine developed into Book 8 (2013) An Open Letter to Humanity at 800 pages; Book 6 was published in 2009 under the title Esoteric & Exoteric Philosophy "The Sayings" and Book 7 followed in 2011, Esoteric Teachings & Revelations.
Books 9 Esoteric Teachings & Revelations II was launched at the end of 2016 and Book 10 Time in 2015. Time is the first book in a dedicated thematic sequence with a further two books in the same series. Space (Book 11) has just been published and all of us (Book 12) is close to being finished, currently with Serge and the editor.
For Serge, writing is never a process of making money, getting famous or gaining anything at all on a personal level for that matter. For him writing is about delivering what is needed by and for all of humanity, even those who will never come in touch with his books. His writing is about stating energetically how it really is without regard to conventions, allegiances, ideals or beliefs of any ilk. Writing for Serge is part of his purposeful dedication to Life. And thus, the books are presentations of the Ageless Wisdom in its modern and most accessible form yet, and they never set out to persuade, coax or impose in any way, shape or form.
How can one man so consistently go against the trend of what is nowadays considered ‘normal’ or the done thing, you might wonder? And going against the trend does not only apply to the syntax and style of how these books are written, but also to the fact that Serge will not ever water down or make more palatable what can at times hit a raw nerve or make some squirm in their seats. These philosophical works address a level of personal responsibility that most of us have separated from and relegated to the scrap heap in the pursuit of the good and easy life as opposed to a true, loving and amazing life.
Serge Benhayon has always said that he can write what he writes because he is in fact not addressing any novices or talking to the uninitiated. Ever since he started publicly presenting in 1999, he has always said that what he presents and will continue to present and write about is known in the inner-heart of all men and women on this earth and that it is but a matter of humanity returning to this Ageless Wisdom within, no matter how long it might take.

The fact that Serge doesn’t touch type has been the source of a few jokes and light-hearted banter at times, yet it must be said, as it adds to highlight the amazing output that Serge very dedicatedly brings to us all with these books. Add to this that the majority of the writing is done in the very early hours of the morning, a feat that many find difficult to comprehend. |
What Readers Say
We tend to make life complicated. What does it say about life if it can be expressed in two lines? Two lines, a little paragraph that encompass all we need to know about us, our life, our relationships, God and the universe. When I read the quotes or sayings from any of Serge Benhayon’s purple books, it brings me back to what is important and what matters. It explains everything to the point needed and beyond that. It is simple and therefore never out-dated on many levels. Sometimes the quote answers me, my question, sometimes it inspires me to ponder and sometimes it just confirms what I know. This is what I love and appreciate about the quotes and the books; they are designed for life.

I remember well reading the first pages of one of the purple books: The Living Sutras of the Hierarchy by Serge Benhayon. The quote was ‘God did not make human life’ (page 6, line 1-2). Boom!!
Never ever had I heard such a bold statement. If I hadn’t been sitting already I would have had to sit down and take a breath. Time stopped in this moment. The world became very still and I instantly understood every aspect of my life and life on earth. I had searched all my life for answers, for the sufferings human life has to endure. And I had never lost my connection to God. But these two didn’t fit together. Studying philosophy at university didn’t give me the answer, nor catholic and protestant religion, in which I was brought up, nor spiritual seeking in Yoga, Hinduism and shamanism, … but a few lines in a purple book written by Serge Benhayon. The way these pages are written offer me the missing piece of the puzzle and allowed me to reconnect to my own inner wisdom, which I discovered had never left me. Now this was a turning point. For the first time I really felt ‘purple’ . . . ahem, purpose; it was the end of depression and the beginning of my real life. Felix Schumacher, Age 36 | Hamburg, Germany |
