Serge Benhayon – Living from the Truest Sense

The work of Serge Benhayon and Universal Medicine is unique in the world in that evolution through a soulful living way of being in everyday life is paramount. This is not just a game changer, but a walking away from the game of being a better person and having a better life. Universal Medicine stands tall in its resolution that living from the truest sense of who you are will undoubtedly change your life, but that is not the goal, in fact there is no goal. Instead there is a changing of batons from a life fuelled by seeking of success, to a life filled with so much purpose, joy and love that it redefines what success is, purely by living from an inner way that reimprints every aspect of life.
In March 2019 a Universal Medicine annual retreat completed with a majestic offering to all of the participants, that being, the day the scheduled retreat ends, is the day the retreat starts within the life of each participant. Such is the depth of richness of what is offered during the 5 days of retreat, that each person leaves knowing that their life within, that is the way they know themselves to be through their lived experiences, their focus, their definitions of life and modern living, and their purpose in that life, are firmly standing on new foundations.
There is a singular foundation that indelibly alters the living way forth of each participant in that they know themselves as a Soul first and human being second. Soulful living offers no get rich quick programs, or find your perfect mate, or fix your weight problems forever, but instead says “the richness of who you are within is all you have been searching for”. This precedent is the game changer for every aspect of life and the reason why the so called “retreat” never ends.
Once you have lived with the connection to your Soul, had breakfast with it, walked with it, worked with it, and loved with it, there is no going back to a life without it.

When we live from our Soul, there is not a more nourishing way of living. It brings eternal joy, it brings a harmony between us and humanity and the universe, it brings a lightness of being and a settlement in the body and our heart keeps filling up with a love that is infinite. We are complete.

I feel you have touched on what humanity yearns for Maryline that sense of true fulfillment that's when we don't seek someone to fill the emptiness within that we can all feel as we have filled the emptiness ourselves by reconnecting back to our soul. When we do this it's a game changer.

"we are complete". How many of us can in truth say this? I am sure many would say they were but delve a bit deeper and understand the difference between living from function or living from essence and the lie of security; investments in what we do, in our families and in our comfort is utterly exposed.

"A walking away from the game of being a better person and having a better life" - stunningly put and so true. We have been so so reduced from the true magnificence of who we truly are to maneuver through a life as we know it, but it is no betterment or improvement that will restore the fullness of what is. There is nothing to improve. Truth has always been true.

‘..there is a changing of batons from a life fuelled by seeking of success, to a life filled with so much purpose, joy and love that it redefines what success is, purely by living from an inner way that reimprints every aspect of life.’ So beautifully summed up Heather. The change of focus here is profound in what it can deliver to the quality of life we experience. In my own case, life has changed so much with more purpose, joy and love than I once thought possible and it continues to grow.

I have discovered though Universal Medicine and Serge Benhayon that living a ‘better life is not it. It really doesn’t work and we only have to look around to see the dissatisfaction with life that many people are experiencing. I have discovered for myself that there is such a richness to life, it has become less complicated that there is a core within us all that is our soul and when we re align to our soul we can feel it is the everything we have always wanted.

To know to the bone that a better life is not it has been such an utter blessing. We can spend a lifetime chasing our tails and feeling like we have never arrived. Each day that now has purpose and a willingness to evolve has meant life simply means getting deeper in awareness and love. You can't actually get better (pun intended)!

I love the simplicity with which you have expressed so much. To be reintroduced to living in connection to my Soul by Serge Benhayon, has been such a precious gift, as I have discovered how hard it had been to live in disconnection to it, and in contrast, how beautifully simple it is when I breathe, live, walk and talk with it in every moment

Forever chasing the better life kept me from knowing the beauty I already am. Walking this different way is introduced, in a really practical way, through the retreats. Yes, I may alternative between the two but I know which one is true that I'm ultimately coming back to.

"there is a changing of batons from a life fuelled by seeking of success, to a life filled with so much purpose, joy and love that it redefines what success is, purely by living from an inner way that re-imprints every aspect of life.' What you are talking about here is available to everyone, but the attraction of what ever our version of success is can be very addictive on every level. To consider a life full of purpose joy and love can disturb the status quo deeply.

How beautiful Heather, thank you, including "from a life fuelled by seeking of success, to a life filled with so much purpose, joy and love that it redefines what success is". I absolutely agree with this based on my own experiences with Universal Medicine and how I now am living with my soul each day. It is truly a beautiful way of life, and there is a richness to having a purpose greater than ourselves that feels so very natural, something I know I have dearly missed. What we seek in life in terms of ideals of success can never ever fill the void of returning to our true soulful selves. Once we return to soul we then take that into every part of life and everything has purpose. It’s absolutely gorgeous to live this way.

'Soulful living offers no get rich quick programs, or find your perfect mate, or fix your weight problems forever, but instead says “the richness of who you are within is all you have been searching for”.' That richness of who we are within is well worth the search and well worth the effort of discarding all that is not it.

'Soulful living offers no get rich quick programs, or find your perfect mate, or fix your weight problems forever, but instead says “the richness of who you are within is all you have been searching for”. Once upon a time I would have said that soulful living was impossible in a world that felt so hostile and hard and how on earth could I possibly access that richness when I felt like a useless nobody anyway?! But slowly over time, with the help of Universal Medicine what you are sharing here became a reality for me. Ultimately the only issue I understood I had was that I missed myself terribly in the disconnection I had chosen. In that disconnection I could not acknowledge that there was anything of worth within. However, being open to the potential of a richness within meant that I could start accessing it during those moments of chosen connection (Actually I had never really dismissed it out of hand, it had simply got tarnished with an overlay of emotional gunk and reaction and those voices that said I was of little worth). When I started accessing it, I could no longer deny it and in no longer denying it, each day began a continued exploration of what it felt like to feel connected until the scales tipped and the connected days were more than the disconnected ones. What I have discovered lies within is far richer than I could possibly have thought but at the same time was not unknown – I had felt it as a small child. Whilst I can acknowledge also that my days are not one long chain of soul connectedness, where I have got to is so far from where I began that I can now begin to entertain the concept of soul connectedness as a true reality and one that I am definitely heading towards.

I love and appreciate the fact that the day you leave a retreat or any other workshop presented by Serge Benhayon, is the day you begin to live what you have come to understand, and take it out into the world. So often in the past I did not look forward to the last day of a retreat as I wanted it to last forever, that was until I realised that by bringing all the presented wisdom into my life, the retreat was never going to end.

'...in fact there is no goal. Instead there is a changing of batons from a life fuelled by seeking of success, to a life filled with so much purpose, joy and love that it redefines what success is, ...' This turns a life of constant betterment on its head.

I'd completely sold myself out to such a life. I could even say I was addicted to being better. No aspect of my life was exempt from the highs of 'success' and the lows of 'failure.' And I still catch myself in this. Like it can appear commendable to focus on being more loving, more caring, more dedicated. But there's no more about it. I'm either connected and expressing from love or I'm in betterment.

I'm realising betterment is actually quite ugly. It cannot but come with judgement (where am I on the arbitrary scale of success) and with this comparison (where am I in relation to others and vice versa) and even competition, jealousy or supremacy. So not something worth striving for afterall!

I was with a group of financiers recently and they were stating that there are not enough skilled or qualified people who want to work in the employment market. No one seems to want to work any more people are just checking out on life and drifting through it not wanting to take any sort of responsibility. I have found that Universal Medicine actually supports people to take an active part in life and to be self-responsible and when we do this life becomes worth living again.

The purpose of a retreat is to build a foundation so that when you return to your everyday life you are equipped to deal with what's ahead. It is not to please you there and then, it is not to make you feel blissful or like life is rosy and pink. If that occurs during a retreat, we will be completely smashed when we return to everyday life.

Better life is not the goal, it is not about having millions in your bank account and sitting on a beach somewhere drinking a cocktail or nice juice. The growth and betterment offered by this way of life far outreach what our human brain is dictated by what's around us. The bliss we all strive for does not measure up to the joy of your heart when you connect to life in this way, the success of the forever achiever does not measure up to the settlement in being content with your life and the appreciation that pours out from the smallest detail and divine communication you become aware of. Life is richer beyond measure, because our physical realm has no measure for the majesty this way of living offers.

“the richness of who you are within is all you have been searching for”. I know for me that before I found Serge and Universal Medicine my search was completely outside, in books, presenters, workshops, different modalities - I knew something was missing but I didn’t realise it was me! Honestly, the riches within are truly incredible living life with soul, before that my inner life was not great at all, in fact it was something I wanted to get away from. Serge’s work has been the most immense gift to me, life now is indeed beautiful and very rich, not perfect, I have my down days but the joy and love I now live is beyond what I would have thought possible prior to studying with Universal Medicine in 2012.
