Serge Benhayon inspires us to shine like the precious stone we are

by Joel Levin

"A prospector is working hard to find the precious stones that will make the years of searching worthwhile. One day he finds a stone with a shine and colour that is exquisite, its value immeasurable. The find has the potential to change life in so many ways that at first he was unsure about having it around. Maybe he was more interested in the thrill of the chase than he was in actually finding what he was looking for. At first, he credited all his good fortune on the stones and felt like his life could never measure up to its luminance. It was not until he began to realise that while the stone represented the life he had always wanted to live, it was still his own choice and responsibility to live his life in that way."    ---
This has been my experience of finding Serge Benhayon, a precious gem of immeasurable quality who has a way of living and understanding the world that changes everything. To say everything is not a piece of hyperbole, there is quite literally not an aspect of my life now that is not different – from food, to work, to exercise, to relationships, to how I breathe, everything means everything.
The most interesting thing is that these changes, are not derived from a set of rules delivered by Serge. What he presents is a set of principles, not about how to change everything in life but how to live from the most ultimate point of simplicity and grace, and that is to live in connection to the Soul. From there, the rest is up to you. You either like what you feel, accept what is being offered (by your own Soul not anyone else) or not.

This is indeed one of Serge’s most inspiring attributes, the fact that he is so deeply committed to changing the quagmire that humanity is in but is simultaneously unfazed about how long any one individual takes to making these changes. He has the ultimate respect for an individual's free will. He presents commitment without ideology, discipline without judgment, joy without the need for others to choose the same.

Indeed, the most powerful gift he offers, is the space to develop and appreciate our own equal ability, wisdom, power and responsibility to live and shine like the precious stone we are.
Unless we are willing to shine like a diamond for each other all the world will see is coal and think that is all that is possible in this world.

Serge shines so that others might equally shine in their own lives, in their own way.

"Commitment without ideology" what a great way to define the qualities Serge shares. And how rare it is to find someone so unaffected by the choices others make, yet so caring at the same time.

So true Stephen. Serge Benhayon has an immense love and care of every single person standing on the planet but zero investment in our choices or indeed any thing in this world. The truth he lives comes from the vastness of the Universe we live in and he constantly holds this bigger picture as he moves through life. We are so much more that what we perceive our selves and our lives to be in our insular societies.

These words are so powerful and show that without the ideology but commitment shared by Serge Benhayon we are offered the support to live what is true and offer this to another. True brotherhood in reflection.

'Commitment with ideology' When an ordinary man is able to live and demonstrate such commitment to helping the quagmire that humanity is in without adding any more ideals and beliefs we have a chance to not sink further.

And such reminders are very much needed in our societies today, as we so readily forget just how precious we all are. Serge Benhayon provides a constant source of inspiration that empowers us to recognise, cherish and express our innate love, virtues and qualities so that we can re-establish these truths in the world today.

'Serge shines so that others might equally shine in their own lives, in their own way.' Serge is like a torch bearer. He offers the highest inspiration that ignites the inner spark of those who see that they can also make a difference if they choose it so...to make a difference in their own way through their own expression, thereby igniting the spark in others.

Love this Rachel. Yes Serge Benhayon has an inner absoluteness. He knows with everything he is what our true purpose is, where we are from and where we are going. He is a torch bearer for all humanity - at the very front of the vanguard - lighting the way for all who choose to see the light of the torch; inspiring them to travel, keeping it held high and steady, never wavering, always bright, always on, always illuminating the darkness so that we may see our choices and be reminded that there is something else, something that is greater and that that something is something we already know because otherwise we would not be inspired towards it. True inspiration.

So succinctly put Joel. Serge Benhayon is a master of presentation and true compassion, allowing people space to explore for our selves what is presented, to rub the coal dust off and see that we too are immensely precious gems worth taking deep care of ourselves. Serge is a precious treasure and thanks to his life changing presentations and workshops I now know that all of us are precious treasures too.

Joel you are a master parable teller and have so inspired me when you write 'Unless we are willing to shine like a diamond for each other all the world will see is coal and think that is all that is possible in this world.' To be willing to shine is clearly so super-important, which means letting go of all that holds us small and less, when we are not small or less but part of the stupendous love that is available to all.

I agree Ariana, I was deeply touched reading Joel's testimony. I have lived most of my life in contraction but to meet Serge Benhayon's reflection shining in all his glory has inspired me and many, many others to do the same. To feel in my body and begin to claim that it is possible to live the love I am is a miracle as I continue to unfold and let go of all that which is not truth so that the precious, exquisite gem that has always been there inside me deeply hidden at times shines brightly once again.

I could not agree with you more Joel. The space which Serge holds us in absolute love. He is effectively saying I love you no matter what choices you make as ultimately you are love so sooner or later you will come back to the love. The space this allows without an imposition or need is what I now know true love to be because it does not ask you to be anything rather holds you in the love you are.

This is an excellent point James about the true definition of love, and a lesson for me on a personal level as there are times when I feel amazing but I may tend to avoid someone else (including my partner, unfortunately) who I feel may not be honouring of that or may be in an emotionally charged space and I have contracted myself to calibrate down and not stand out. But this is a huge disservice to both of us, as in that moment the other person could really use that 'diamond' to shine and offer them another way as Serge Benhayon has done like no other in recent history.

This is beautiful Joel and in my experience of what you've shared it feels far grander and more empowering of myself when the choice to change comes from me feeling and accepting my Soul. Changing my life without feeling it first or because I think anothers life is better so I try to copy has never been sustainable or successful.

Reply

Very well said Leigh. When we attempt to copy another our attempts are ultimately not sustainable because they are not coming from our inner truth. When we are shown how to connect to our Soul, we are empowered to align to an innate knowing that enables us to steadily evolve our choices, building as we go a strong internal foundation that does not rely on other people's actions or choices, but on our own discernment and experience. We become more of who we inherently are.

To come, for the first time, to a presentation where Serge Benhayon presented the meaning of life, not with a “set of rules” but with “a set of principles” which I could accept or not, was so far removed from anything I had ever been presented with before. I had searched for so long for the meaning of life and when Serge presented that it began firstly with the relationship and the love that I had with myself I could feel that I had been woken up from a very long sleep and in a place that was so familiar – it felt like home.

Reply
Ray Karam link

The ability to be able to 'wake' people to something they already know within them is a blessing for us all. There is a way to move in this world that allows you to see what most are unable to see for themselves even though they hold it within them. Serge Benhayon continues to honour this quality of movement that brings forward all that is known but has been moved into another area of our awareness. When it comes back to you it comes as no surprise but more unravels or unfolds you back to see clearly again. It's refreshing in a world that more dulls your understanding or awareness of what is truly going on around you then supports you to truly see.

A very true analogy, especially the part that we find the shining bright light, but are not sure we hold the same. Coming to the point where this possibility, that you know is true, becomes a deep seated feeling that can no longer be ignored, so begins the journey of again allowing our very own shinning light to lead our lives.

The same applies to me Beverley. Serge Benhayon has thrown about the Rule Book and in its place stands the Book of Discernment, which applies to absolutely everything in life including his teachings. In doing so we are freed from the imposition of another person's expectations or beliefs, we are left to just deal with our own and to learn how to feel and discern what is loving, wise, nurturing and expansive for our selves. What I am discovering is that the more we connect to our inner wisdom and discern the quality of life we wish to live, the more we come to know that really we are all facets of the same ginormous diamond.

He has the ultimate respect for an individual's free will. He presents commitment without ideology, discipline without judgment, joy without the need for others to choose the same.”

Again and again as I get caught in the impatience of wanting a change for the world, for others and even for myself, when I catch the harshness and the push that sneaks in, I witness Serge Benhayon and the grace with which he unwaveringly holds me and everyone and I gain a deeper understanding of what true love actually means.

I can feel the call of true responsibility in this statement - "Unless we are willing to shine like a diamond for each other all the world will see is coal and think that is all that is possible in this world." It is up to each and everyone of us to shine as brightly as we can, not only for ourselves, but for each other.

It reminds me an experience a few years ago Joel. I was sitting in my livingroom and became much more aware about my surrounding and at the same moment I felt myself deeply sinking in my own body, in my heart. Then suddenly I could clearly feel God. I could feel the beholding of God. He is everywhere and he holds us in his love no mater what. And he has no ideas how you should be he just has a knowing that you will return to him anyway and there were he is time is not existing so he just holds us in his love for the time we are playing our games. he has no judgements just a beholder of love. And this is what Serge reflects us in physical form. If you let him in your heart you feel he just hold us in his very big heart. No judgements, no push how to be just embracing all in his unconditional love.

The more we do, the more we reflect to each other who we truly are. I love the prophetic style of your writing Joel in the the opening paragraph, because it sets the tone for the gem that Serge Benhayon is. When I first met him I could sense there was something there but could only relate to him as someone quite ordinary - to be honest I didn't have a clue as to what was standing in front of me. In my own blockages over awareness, because of the layer upon layer of protection I had built, they made me rather blind to the sparkle that was there. Over time, the more I have listened to his words of wisdom, the more I have observed him walk, talk, move, interrelate with others, not hold back the truth, be humorous, be light, be playful, be firm, be joyful - the more I have begun to see and appreciate the enormous (not a big enough word) light that Serge Benhayon is.

To live a set of principles, and then to teach those principles from your own livingness, is a rare find these days. And for those principles to be presented in such a way that you have a choice whether or not they are for you, allows the space and the grace for you to test and try it out (or ignore it), or come back for me. I am deeply thankful for Serge Benhayon in showing us a new way of living (that is actually not really new at all!).

There is such a freedom in what Serge Benhayon offers and presents; he is absolute in his commitment but there is no pressure or need from him for anyone to in fact, hear, listen or acknowledge what he presents, let alone live it. He presents the truth of how he lives and it's up to you to hear and explore that for you, and to unfold that if you wish in your own life. You do not get any expectancy; Serge Benhayon does not need any outcome from what he presents. He just presents and then it is up to the individual and their free will what they will do with the information. Whereas in our current way of life we place huge expectations on ourselves or it comes in from others and can be crushing.

Ah yes Joel, so many of us say that we want a loving life, yet when faced with the simple steps we need to take, it's like we run the opposite way. Serge Benhayon presents everything you could ever need to understand, and then some. So it's over to me and you, what are we going to choose this time? The way forward is simple and clear, the willingness to say yes may be difficult to find at first but in the end it leads to the Love we all deserve.

"To say everything is not a piece of hyperbole, there is quite literally not an aspect of my life now that is not different – from food, to work, to exercise, to relationships to how I breath, everything means everything." Same, Same Joel, my life is totally unrecognisable from what it was 11 years ago. Serge Benhayon empowered me to completely change track from an otherwise inevitable downward slide into illness and disease. This precious gem of a man that stands before us is well worth paying astute attention to.

Sometimes we find the precious stone that shines and gleams so brightly that we get a bit overwhelmed at what we found and don't know what to do with it. Sometimes everything we need is right in front of us but it seems too hard or we make excuses this is so. With Serge Benhayon he has proven time and again that his presence and his wisdom are showing up the falsity of human life, but in a way that provides the alternative should we choose it. Like many great leaders of the ages his true worth will likely only be appreciated when he is no longer here.

For many years I was definitely a prospector looking in the wrong place for the treasure that I felt was waiting for me and forever hopeful that one day I would find it. And found it I finally have, but not where I thought it would be. It took meeting Serge Benhayon, the master of all prospectors to offer me the treasure map that would support me to find this seemingly elusive treasure and where did I find it – buried deep inside me, where it had always been. All I have had to do is to make the choice to uncover it and polish it once again.

In this world there is no greater love than reminding another that we are, every single one of us, a divine Son of God. That means although we may be choosing to express otherwise, we nonetheless have all the qualities of God flowing through us constantly - love, truth, harmony, stillness and joy. I love your following comment about Serge Benhayon: “Indeed, the most powerful gift he offers, is the space to develop and appreciate our own equal ability, wisdom, power and responsibility to live and shine like the precious stone we are.”

Prior to Universal Medicine I knew we were more than this physical body, but the many areas of study seem to all show that the physical and metaphysical aspects of us did not really gel that well: the physical seemed to require focus and action, and the metaphysical seemed to require you to ignore the physical and try hard to connect to something that was neither tangible, nor made real sense.

Thank God, since knowing Serge Benhayon it has become obvious how everything is absolutely connected and I have been supported to deepen my understanding and awareness, as well as develop ways that help connect to and live my essence in everyday life.

Just when you think it is covered and understood, there is more. Like a jewel it's true, the truth seems to go on deep within itself with no end in sight. And like any precious stone, it's up to us to cherish it, to polish and care for it, or leave it in the ground at night. The light the jewel can reflect is limited by that which is shone on it too. Serge Benhayon presents exactly this but with the knowing he is a reflection and the quality that is being reflected that others will then know themselves by.

That is very true Joel. Serge doesn't hold back because we do. His heart is wide open to everybody no one left out. It doesn't matter how you choose to live he just hold you in love and at the same time he is not expecting nothing, he just delivers divine wisdom and he doesn't have any push that we will make steps into our innate divine we are. He knows anyway one day we will.

It struck me today that what was shared about every aspect of Joel’s life being different, was no exaggeration. My life and the way I am in life is completely different to before I met Serge Benhayon. Without his steady reflection I would never have made these choices. I would have continued to choose from the smorgasbord of options in life that keep you on a hamster wheel that only offers temporary highs, distractions or relief.

'Serge Benhayon inspires us all.' And so he does, by the simplicity of his living way of life which is all very regular and normal, a family man with the usual responsibilities , but Serge Benhayon does not consider that his family is all that is important, of equal importance is the global family of humanity. He then lives his life in a manner that will support all not just those living in his family and by his lived way he inspires us all to shine.

It is far too frequent, and even championed, for people to shine something about themselves in order to be recognised as better and more than everyone else. Yet in Serge Benhayon we see an example of a different way of being: shining so that it supports, inspires and reminds everyone else of their own absolute equal glory.

Finding Serge Benhayon is like finding the most precious stone in the whole Universe he is the founding light from which we have been able to see that we too can be that light and not the coal that we readily accept as being it. If we take a diamond, No two diamonds are ever the same each one is a precious stone in it's own right each one shining and reflecting light from different angles, this is what Serge has been able to show us and when we can fully live this we will no longer have comparison and jealousy in the world as each one of us will know we are precious gems shining brightly as a reflection for others to see.

The first paragraph in this piece of writing is exquisite, because is it not true that a huge part of the human condition is to constantly search with an aim to find. But you ask the question here about what then happens when what you have been searching for you actually do find? ‘there is quite literally not an aspect of my life now that is not different – from food, to work, to exercise, to relationships to how I breath, everything means everything.’ Same for me, everything gets influenced when you start taking care of yourself and connect to the truth within. With the realization that everything is actually equallly important in life, everything being ‘one life’ things change even more. I am a diamond. Sometimes my surface gets cloudy, scratched, discoloured and when this happens I don't shine so brightly. Time spent with Serge Benhayon or any of his books, teachings, presentations, workshops, readings, audio excerpts (the output of this man is mind-boggling) rapidly buffs away the clouds, cleans the discolouration and polishes away the scratches - leaving me the shinning diamond that I am.

Reading this today "He presents commitment without ideology, discipline without judgment, joy without the need for others to choose the same.", offered a moment of deep appreciation for Serge Benhayon. That combination is quite rare, and particularly the last one because quite often when presenters are joyous about their topic, it is often laden with 'and you should be so too' and nothing remotely like this comes from Serge Benahyon.

This is exactly what it's like to be a student of Serge Benhayon, it's "not about how to change everything in life but how to live from the most ultimate point of simplicity and grace, and that is to live in connection to the Soul", and that is how all the true changes come about, from within ourselves.

That is a crucial difference to understand – it is not rules that are dictated but principles being recognized and honoured. Rules are man made, principles are universal and thus the natural way to be for everyone equally. In a world that has waywardly strayed away from adhering to or living in harmony with these principles it may appear as rules because the principles expose the waywardness but nevertheless Serge simply presents and thus reminds us of what we all know anyway but may have chosen to ignore until we choose to not ignore it anymore.

When Serge Benhayon presents, and no matter what he presents, there is never a feeling of expectation coming from him that he wants you to ‘get it’. Instead there is a feeling of being gently held in an endless space and within this space there is the choice to accept and live the wisdom he has offered and lives for himself, or not.

When this light is re-ignited I am realising how there are no limits the extent that this light reaches and touches all aspects of our lives, our relationships and the world we move through. As you say here – ‘Serge shines so that others might equally shine in their own lives, in their own way.’ – Yes I have been and continue to be inspired to be the light of who I am as best I can, reflecting who we all are, through my everyday living.

I have been inspired to look beyond my own little life and consider others more deeply, our humanity is hurting, pain, greed, illness, issues are rising and the conflict is immense. The weakness we have as a society is that we look at our situation and say "well it is not that bad", we stay separate from each other in doing so, not understanding that regardless of gender, religion or race, we are brothers on this planet. If someone else is in conflict, slavery, poverty, abuse then through our slice and lack of accountability condone it. This does not mean rallying and preaching, it means living another way and when issues arise on our path, working with them responsibly and not turning a blind eye. I know that how I live makes a difference, I know that I need to look past my own backyard and make a difference through how I live, not what I do. Quality matters, it offers another way.

That really is something amazing, that Serge Benhayon presents on religion, ideology, science and philosophy without people needing to believe the same, this can be likened to great lights of our time like Galileo, Leonardo Da Vinci, Pythagoras and Plato, those who lived from the inner heart. What is so prevalent in our world today is the need to justify your position based on what beliefs we have been sold, and that makes for a life of drive and or misery. I have often heard Serge Benhayon say that the magic is in the mundane things.

Either way it is still within and it is our core through and through, a precious diamond that sparkles the light of heaven no matter how much we want to dull it.

I once thought coal was the only thing, there were different kinds of coal but no true shining in there. This all started to change when I met Serge Benhayon and I saw, felt and experience that shining like a diamond is possible and the only way to come out of the coals.

Having the grace of knowing that Serge Benhayon does not consider himself as better than anyone else is like knowing that the universe is made of particles.

Serge Benhayon does not hold people to time but allows space, just as God does with His sons. No more, no less.

Serge shines so that others may equally shine, exactly so; and he does it with total acceptance and graciousness, there is no time-table, no expectation that you 'get' it or that you do anything, he just forever lives the love and truth he is and holds everyone he meets in that also, regardless of whether they live it; he always sees the beauty inside.

'This has been my experience of finding Serge Benhayon, a precious gem of immeasurable quality who has a way of living and understanding the world that changes everything.' The immeasurable quality, really is immeasurable! There are few words that can describe the inordinate change that Serge Benhayon brings through his understanding of the world and by his sharing of it. The immeasurability is off the charts.

In this day and age in can now be said that there is living proof, by the thousands, that we are so much more that we have been led to believe, and this it is not only possible, but it is very tangible to be able to live in a way that is led by the connection to our Soul. Serge Benhayon has initiated and resurrected this way of living for not only himself but for us all to see, feel and know that this way of living is our true and innate way of being, one that is accessible to all and is our right. When this way is activated for ourselves, our lives transform as we are no longer stimulated by external factors that impose and dictate how we should be and live, but rather we live impulsed and governed by the truth and love of who we already innately are and always have been.

And this is what I love about Serge Benhayon's teachings, he inspires us to find our own way to reconnect to our spark. There are no rules, just simply listening to our inner truth and we will soon realise that this truth is the same in us all.

The world can be a very imposing place as others actively or subtly impose on us to be something. We then live in reaction or in submission to these demands. Thats not the case with Serge as he offers you space to get to know your essence without interference. Such space is the blessing he brings.

It is understandable that we only think that there is only coal with only small scratchings of precious bright stones, given that is what we most often see and because of that we think that this is the way it is. But its not and that's what Serge Benhayon shows us all the time...who we truly are and where we are from. And that the precious bright stone is equally there within each and everyone of us waiting for us to notice that is it very much there.

You have captured this aspect of Serge that I equally love, and has been a big learning for myself, 'This is indeed one of Serge’s most inspiring attributes, the fact that he is so deeply committed to changing the quagmire that humanity is in but is simultaneously unfazed about how long any one individual takes to making these changes. He has the ultimate respect for an individual's free will. He presents commitment without ideology, discipline without judgment, joy without the need for others to choose the same.' Serge Benhayon is indeed remarkable.

I completely agree Joel that my experience of Serge Benhayon is very much that holding space and complete allowing and acceptance of me and my choices and whilst he never holds back in his inspiration, he is forever immensely patient and understanding and supportive of the fact that I need to do things in my own way and in my own time, even when I am obviously dragging my heels on something! There is absolutely no imposition or pressure from this man at all.

I marvel how Serge Benhayon is committed, dedicated and uncompromising in living the absoluteness that he is, not for himself and what it brings him but for all so we can be reminded that we to are of this same awesomeness. Without any investment what so ever on what he gets out of it or when someone will see such beauty and say yes to it, Serge just keeps sharing no matter what and never looking back.

A beautiful analogy with the precious stones. We are all diamonds, often covered over in lifetimes of rust. Removing this debris allows us to shine again - and to see the diamond in each other..

A lot of us think that love is a showing or a doing to express it to another in someone. Serge has shown us it is all that but it is in truth far far grander than just that. It’s greatest form of expression is in a beholding of no judgement and utter understanding and compassion.

Love this observation and share your wonderment of it. To be able to balance that level of commitment and work ethic with an astonishing patience and understanding of the timeline of each person's journey is bewildering to me. How many teachers are there in the world whose dedication to their work is utterly unaffected by the short-term results? Truly profound wisdom. Wowzzers.

This is what makes Serge Benhayon stand out from the crowd, with his ability to bring this deep connection to everything that he does, and to everyone that he meets. What's really lovely is that Serge Benhayon shows that the responsbility of shining like a diamond isn't a big deal nor does it have to be a struggle or effort. Which I'd say has been more challenging that giving up chocolate but it is completely possible.

Having someone reflect "commitment without ideology, discipline without judgment, joy without the need for others to choose the same." how can life not change? it takes a fair bit of effort that's for sure. As I am learning it's no effort at all to shine brightly. It's the letting go of the trying that takes time.
