Search for Serge Benhayon on the internet and you will find two very different stories. One speaks of a man who is highly regarded, respected and loved by many hundreds, if not thousands of people. |
Many people describe how they have been inspired by the way that Serge lives, to make changes in their own lives that have reaped immense rewards in terms of their own health and wellbeing. People who were ill and unemployed, given up on life and themselves, are now enjoying life and are gainfully employed contributing to society, people who had life long patterns of eating disorders, addiction, depression, anxiety and more, speak of having these issues healed and resolved by applying the teachings of Serge Benhayon and Universal Medicine in their lives. In other words, they healed themselves by learning how to live life in a different way, based on coming to a deeper understanding of who they are.
|
There are numerous stories of lives being beneficially transformed and it all started with one man, Serge Benhayon and the way that he lives. Those who know him describe him as deeply loving, gentle, tender, honouring, respectful, kind, considerate, generous, humorous, playful and yet able to tackle the big questions and issues of life head on. He brings the wisdom of the ages in a way that anyone can understand, weaving science, philosophy and religion in a unified, harmonious symphony. He is deeply religious, a philosopher and a scientist of life – living the true science and philosophy of life in relationship with all that is. He makes sense of the things that we struggle to make sense of, he sees behind the veil of illusion to the heart of the matter and knows precisely the energy behind the happenings of life. He is a man ahead of his time – presenting understandings about life, the human body, illness and disease and healing that challenge current paradigms and go beyond what is currently known and scientifically verified today. However, that does not mean that what he offers is not true – and for those who apply in their lives what he presents, they come to know the truth of what he says for themselves.
|
This is because what he presents is not just knowledge or theory but has a practical application – it is a living science. He is human and not perfect and he will be the first to say so, but to those who know him he reflects a steady, consistent way of life that is deeply honouring of himself, God and all others equally so. |
The media articles about Serge Benhayon certainly opened my eyes to the level of manipulation, distortion and outright lies that some in the media partake in just to get a so-called ‘good story’ – with no desire to report on the truth and the facts – even when handed to them on a plate by multiple professionals. Numerous professionals gave the media clear information as to the health benefits they had experienced and observed in many hundreds of people. They also vouched for the integrity of the man they knew well. The media discounted this clear and powerful lived evidence for the sensational lies of a few. The testimonies of the professionals were disregarded and treated as worthless, as a result of being (falsely) identified as merely the opinions of those who had lost their own faculties because they were labelled a ‘cult follower’ – there was no truth to this attack, indeed there was no evidence that any such thing was true whatsoever. True journalism is an honourable profession, one that is needed to expose corruption and get to the behind the scenes stories, but its reputation is being tarnished by those who seem to have few scruples or professional ethics and who put the story, any story, before facts, truth and integrity.
The world needs true journalism and journalists who are willing to do more than ‘copy/paste’ a sensational tale based on hearsay without proper investigation and establishment of the facts.
So what is going on?
What measures can we look at to discern the truth from the lies? As clearly, one version must not be true.
|
They have deliberately chosen the lies carefully to do as much harm as possible. But imagination and made up lies do not count as factual evidence for obvious reasons. There has not been any financial impropriety, tax evasion or fraud. The sheer breadth and kinds of accusations the detractors have hurled would have meant a person who had perpetrated such acts would be in jail – if they were true – but they are not. The complaints by the detractors have seen multiple government agencies thoroughly investigate Universal Medicine and Serge Benhayon – and apart from some minor word changing on a product label, they have come up with a clean bill of health and no wrongdoing. The fact that there is no evidence of any wrongdoing should be enough to blow these concocted lies to smithereens and lay rest to the media stories that have been founded upon such lies.
In addition, those who know Serge Benhayon closest are his own family, and the quality of the lives of his children and his relationship with them speaks volumes for the quality of the life of the man himself. All four children are successful in their own right, all are sought by others for their wisdom and advice on a wide range of issues. They do not drink alcohol, take drugs or abuse themselves in any way. They are deeply loving, caring and respectful human beings. If Serge was the evil man portrayed by the detractors, there is no way his children could be as together, as wise and sound as they are. If they had experienced abuse from him, it would be revealed in their lives for sure. And there is none. It is perhaps a rare feat these days to raise four children who do not end up abusing themselves in some way with alcohol and/or drugs and perhaps people should be asking how does that happen?
Many of us have known Serge for many years through attending Universal Medicine presentations and courses. We know the consistency he brings to all that he does, his tirelessness and patience to help people heal and address their issues, his endless font of wisdom that reveals the truth about God, about life and the human condition, with simplicity, ease, humour and playfulness.
Through his teachings and lived example, many in the student body have transformed their lives, their health and well-being, and are empowered to speak up and out about issues in their work or homes or countries that are abusive, harming and not loving. |
I do not need to defend Serge Benhayon or justify my patronage of Universal Medicine but I will say it as I see it and speak out against those who tell absolute lies. This is not a sycophantic report of an enraptured cult follower – simply an account of my observations and experience since attending Universal Medicine presentations. The man portrayed by the detractors is a character I would have nothing to do with and is a caricature that bears no resemblance to the actual man, Serge Benhayon, I have known and interacted with for nearly ten years.
|
So despite whatever humanly flaws there may be – I have yet to meet or hear of anyone who can present the wisdom of the ages and live the love of God every day with the consistency that Serge does. And I have heard and met quite a few that like to think they do, yet they come nowhere near. Of course, I have not met all 7 billion people, but until someone else comes along who shares more lived wisdom than Serge, I will continue to listen to what he has to say, whilst always discerning if it feels true to me or not.
From medicine, I learned about the body, how it functioned, its anatomy and physiology, pathology and so forth – but from Serge Benhayon I learned how to live in and with the body in a way that is truly caring, deeply loving, profoundly nurturing, exquisitely tender, deliciously delicate and how all of that translates into a physical body that is healthy and harmonious – or not, should I choose otherwise.
So as for ‘no smoke without fire’ – the only smoke that has arisen here is from the smoke bombs hurled by a few with evil intent, which may seem to cast a little haze for a while, but they have absolutely no power over the smokeless fire of divine love – a fire that shines through and obliterates the shadows of life, illuminating the homeward way. For those who see with the eyes and heart of divine love – there is no haze at all. Serge Benhayon has made his life about fire, the fiery way of love – an ancient and well-known truth amongst sages of the past, and one that is in serious need of rekindling amongst us all. For those who recognise the truth of that way, no amount of hurled smoke bombs will detract from that known way.
Thank you Serge.
